Photo + Video Coverage
I was brought in to document the Slow The World Down Experience at Windy Hill Farm and Preserve through both photography and video. The weekend included large outdoor performances, intimate acoustic sets, curated dining moments, and a fan Q&A with Erick Baker. My focus was on capturing the full atmosphere of the experience from quiet, in-between moments to the energy of live music, creating visuals that felt personal, immersive, and true to the spirit of the event.
A full weekend experience built around slowing down, connecting, and sharing music in an intentional setting
The goal was to tell the story of the weekend as it unfolded capturing not just the performances, but the moments between them. From shared meals and conversations to intimate acoustic sets and large outdoor shows, every part of the experience was approached with a documentary mindset. The final photo and video deliverables were designed to reflect the emotion, pace, and authenticity of the event, giving viewers a genuine sense of what it felt like to be there.

Problem
Large, multi-day experiential events are difficult to capture in a way that feels authentic. It’s easy to document performances, but much harder to preserve the emotion, pacing, and atmosphere that make the experience meaningful.
The Slow The World Down Experience was designed to be immersive and intentional, blending live music, intimate conversations, and shared moments across an entire weekend. The challenge was capturing more than just the headline performances. The story lived in the quiet in-between moments, the connection between fans and artist, and the contrast between large outdoor shows and small, personal settings. Without thoughtful documentation, much of that feeling could easily be lost once the weekend ended.

Solution
The solution was to document the experience with intention, treating the entire weekend as one connected story rather than a series of isolated moments.
I approached the Slow The World Down Experience with a documentary mindset, capturing both the energy of live performances and the quiet, personal moments that defined the weekend. Through a mix of photo and video, I focused on atmosphere, pacing, and emotion, allowing each moment to breathe naturally. From large outdoor concerts to intimate acoustic sets, curated dining experiences, and fan Q&A sessions, the goal was to create visuals that felt immersive and honest. The final coverage reflects the spirit of the event, preserving not just what happened, but how it felt to be there.

Concept
The concept behind the Slow The World Down Experience was to create an intentional weekend centered around music, connection, and presence, set within the natural and beautiful landscape of Windy Hill Farm.
This experience was built on the idea that music is more powerful when people are given the space to slow down and truly connect with it. The weekend blended live performances, intimate acoustic sets, shared meals, and open conversations between Erick Baker and his fans, creating an environment that felt personal rather than performative. My approach to documenting the concept was to let moments unfold naturally, capturing emotion, interaction, and atmosphere without forcing structure. The result is a visual story that reflects the heart of the experience authentic, grounded, and deeply human.
